Summary: CodeForge does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All processing happens entirely on your device.

1. Data Collection

CodeForge does not collect any personal information. The app does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind.

The following data is never collected:

Names, email addresses, or contact details
Location or device identifiers
Usage analytics or telemetry
Text or data entered into any tool
Browsing or search history
IP addresses

2. Local Storage

The app stores a small amount of data locally on your device using the browser's localStorage API. This includes:

Your preferred color theme (dark or light)
Pinned favorite tools (Pro users)
Last-used inputs in certain tools
Your license key and activation ID (Pro users only, stored locally to avoid re-entering)

This data never leaves your device except during license validation (see section 3). You can clear it at any time by clearing app storage in your device settings.

3. License Verification (Pro)

CodeForge offers an optional Pro upgrade purchased via LemonSqueezy. When you activate or validate your license key, the app sends your license key and a device instance identifier to the LemonSqueezy API to confirm your purchase is valid. No other personal data is transmitted.

LemonSqueezy handles all payment processing. We do not receive, store, or process any payment or billing information. For details on how LemonSqueezy handles data, see the LemonSqueezy Privacy Policy.

4. Internet Connectivity

CodeForge is designed to work fully offline after the first load. The app connects to the internet only to:

Load Google Fonts on first use (then cached locally)
Validate your license key with the LemonSqueezy API when Pro is active

No user content or personal data is transmitted during these operations.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Fonts — used to load typefaces on first run. Google may log font requests per their own privacy policy. After initial load, fonts are served from local cache with no further requests.

LemonSqueezy — used for license key activation and validation (Pro only). Only the license key and device instance ID are transmitted.

No analytics platforms, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services are integrated.

6. Children's Privacy

CodeForge does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
